Charts & Infographics / Research & evidenceRELEASED v1.0.0

Distribution Ridge Studio

Compare the shapes of several observed populations on a shared measurement scale. Group-comparison density ridges with shared bandwidth, sample counts and raw observations; unlike the single-population histogram. Explore two fictional datasets, then use the reusable workflow with your own data.

Workflow scripts tested on Linux. Agent installation review pending.

Shared Gaussian bandwidth; density ≠ group size. Dots are actual observations. Samples are fictional. PNG/SVG are static snapshots, not video. Very long labels may need concise display names; non-Latin text uses system fallback fonts. Other browsers, Windows/Linux and real-device touch are not independently verified.

From a good brief to a better result.

Compare the shapes of several observed populations on a shared measurement scale. Group-comparison density ridges with shared bandwidth, sample counts and raw observations; unlike the single-population histogram. Explore two fictional datasets, then use the reusable workflow with your own data. The published package has its own version, tested environments, and included outputs listed alongside this overview. Any earlier draft samples below retain their original verification scope.

What you bring

  • Your dataset, definitions, units, source and time or cycle scope
  • Your analytical question, audience, title and interpretation notes

What you’ll make

  • Interactive local HTML with editable source and bundled assets
  • PNG and SVG chart snapshots; exact source JSON
  • Complete reusable prompt, input validation and two examples

The intended workflow

  1. Map your data to the documented contract without inventing missing observations
  2. Generate a fresh output directory and compare the chart with its source ledger
  3. Review interaction and labels, then export the current chart
