## Slide 1

This roadmap describes a fictional product and synthetic research inputs. Explain that Now, Next and Later express planning direction. They are not release dates or a commitment to ship every listed idea.

## Slide 2

Read the measurement units aloud. Baselines are synthetic and targets are intentions. Do not combine task success and task time into a single score. A real roadmap should link each source to its actual research artifact.

## Slide 3

Anchor the conversation in three distinct user situations. The new contributor, coordinator and returning collaborator need different forms of context. These needs justify work only after real supporting evidence is supplied.

## Slide 4

Use the principles to explain tradeoffs. End-to-end usefulness may mean fewer features. Visible ownership is a product behavior, not merely an extra label. Invite a challenge if a listed item violates the principles.

## Slide 5

Now work is active focus, but its assumptions still need testing. Clarify the decision register and ownership state as separable work streams. Each has a progression gate and one primary outcome.

## Slide 6

Next items depend on what the Now work teaches. A dependency is not a calendar estimate. Avoid scheduling contextual links before the register model and its real user behavior have been reviewed.

## Slide 7

Later contains exploratory opportunities with low confidence. A low-confidence label is permission to learn, narrow or stop. It should not be read as a disguised delivery promise.

## Slide 8

The capacity values are fictional working team-days. They are not person-level utilization targets. Reserve time makes operational and accessibility work visible instead of assuming perfect uninterrupted delivery.

## Slide 9

Read each dependency from prerequisite to dependent item. The graph is validated for missing IDs and cycles. Operational risks remain separate from the dependency map because sequence alone cannot mitigate them.

## Slide 10

An experiment needs a decision rule before results arrive. The examples intentionally avoid unsupported significance claims. Record actual sample size, conditions and findings in the next real review.

## Slide 11

Explain why each deferred feature does not earn current investment and what evidence would change that choice. Deferred is a reversible decision, not a permanent dismissal of the user need.

## Slide 12

Ask for the two specific decisions and name their owners. End with the next evidence review, not a promised launch date. Keep the conversation open to narrowing or stopping work when assumptions change.
